Getting and staying organized can feel overwhelming and purchasing organizational tools can be expensive. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be!
If you are or have ever been an Ipsy subscriber, you probably have a stockpile of makeup bags and nothing to use them for. Here are a few things you can organize with your extra makeup bags:
Organize your purse.
In the past, if I put something in my purse, it disappeared. Forever. Even now, I don’t always maintain a utopia of organization in my purse. However, I have found my leftover makeup bags to be very useful to help tame the jungle. Small makeup bags are perfect for organizing:
- Important receipts
- Feminine products
- Loose bobby pins and hair ties
- Gift cards
- Membership cards
Organize your bathroom drawers.
If any household space is a perfect demonstration of entropy, it’s the bathroom drawer. Try using your leftover makeup bags to help tame the jungle:
- Bobby pins, hair ties, headbands, etc.
- Nail polish, clippers, and files
Better organized carry-on and personal items mean getting through security and even getting into your seat faster. Try using your makeup bags to organize small items you need quick access to when flying, such as your headphones, cell phone charger, ID, cash/credit card, and other items you will need quick access to. You can also use them to organize small items in your carry-on or checked bags, such as:
- Any items above you need to bring with you
- Necklaces, bracelets, and earrings
- Travel toothbrush & toothpaste
